Eight4Nine Restaurant & Lounge is located in Palm Springs, CA. The location was formerly the Palm Springs Post Office. The interior of this place is hip and memorable. It’s minimalist style keeps the space clean and fresh. The overall white and black palette is contrasted with pops of pink and blue. The combination of different styles of furniture create a swanky vibe. You’ll find modern tables and chairs, alongside farmhouse tables. My personal favorite chairs are Louis XIV chairs in patent white leather. The space has multiple seating areas that are slightly different in wall colors and seating colors.

Accessories wise, white dinnerware is used to continue the minimalism of the space. This can also be seen in the repetition of the same framed photograph below.

One of my favorite aspects of the space is the arrangement of light fixtures. Various pendants are placed in a grouping as if they are working together as one fixture. The picture below shows how well they work together.

The eclectic minimalism continues in the outdoor seating area. The same style furniture is seen in pink and white. Only this time they are contrasted with a concrete and grass geometric floor. The sculptures and architectural details of the building stay true to the iconic Palm Springs look.
