Two-Toned Two Piece

Two-piece sets are one of my favorite looks. This style has been becoming more and more popular the last few years. I sometimes wonder why fashion ever steered away from this look, since it is so flattering. High-waisted pants and shorts always seem to make you look slimmer. For example, check out these vintage 1940’s pants that are featured in this look. Not only are these pants flattering, but they are also extremely comfortable. I love the orange details in the stitches and buttons. I mean, who doesn’t like a cute front pocket?

The top to this two-piece is new and was custom made to match the vintage pants. I love that it is tied in with the white and orange stripes! The tan color prevents the outfit from getting too “matchy-matchy”. I love adding custom elements to vintage items. It makes the look even more individualized and allows you to add a personal touch to a classic style.
