This past month, I finally made it back to Joshua Tree National Park. It is by far one of my favorite weekend getaways. There are so many explorations within the park and the Joshua Trees themselves give an almost extraterrestrial feeling. Personally, I prefer going off the paths to avoid crowds and experiencing bliss within isolation in the desert.
To mimic the feeling of freedom in the desert, I wore a free flowing 1930's white and red embroidered organdy peasant dress. I love the details and red intricate stitching. Dresses that are fitted at the waist and flowing in the skirt are my favorite! It's the perfect balance of comfort and flatter. I paired the dress with my Kate Spade red cat eye sunglasses.
